It is going to be one long road to recovery for the greater Plettenberg Bay and Knysna community after the fires destroyed so many homes earlier this month. But we will get there, and we need your help.

The Garden Route is one of the most beautiful places on earth to visit! Although the fires stretched far and wide, there are still so many areas left untouched and you can still have one of the best holidays of your life. The area needs its tourism to flourish.
Book tickets for the Plett Arts Festival
From 30 June to 22 July, the Plett Arts Festival will be in full swing! From music to theatre, comedy shows to art exhibitions, there is so much to see and do. Take a look at the line-up and pick the events you will support. What a great way to spend the school holidays!
Come and see the whales
The whales are in the bay! Head to Plett for a rather special whale sighting this winter.
SUPPORT THE KNYSNA OYSTER FESTIVAL
A highlight of the year, The Knysna Oyster Festival is happening between 6th and 17th July 2017. The programme is as good as ever with the marathon, oyster festival and cycle tour being some of the key events. This will be a great fundraising opportunity but, more importantly, each year the festival brings in close to R110 million over the 10 days (excluding event tickets). Last year it created 2,392 job opportunities. Let’s all support it!
Plan ahead for the Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival
Start thinking about your October plans! The Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival will take place on the 7th and 8th October and you can expect all the local wine farms to be represented. Put it in the diary!
