Cape Point Vineyards Market

Open every Thursday evening in summer from 4:30pm until 8:30pm

Set against the most magnificent backdrop, the Cape Point Vineyards Market does not disappoint. The market features a growing number of local vendors and food trucks and a friendly and festive atmosphere. Chill out on the grassy lawns with live music and breathtaking sunset scenes, while sampling some of the delicious wine on offer from Cape Point Vineyards and tucking into tasty eats – such as wood-fired pizzas, vegan donuts, gourmet mac ‘n cheese and more.

Neighbourgoods Market

Open every Saturday from 9am until 3pm.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Woodstock, at the Old Biscuit Mill, you’ll find the vibrant and trendy Neighbourgoods Market, which attracts a continuous stream of locals and tourists each week. The market brings together over 100 of the city’s finest micro-merchants, designers, specialty-producers and celebrated local chefs that offer fresh, homemade wares and locally produced goods. Bay Harbour Market

Open every Friday from 5pm to 9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30am to 4pm.

Head down to Hout Bay for one of Cape Town’s illustrious markets, the Bay Harbour Market. The market boasts more than 100 eclectic stalls under the roof of a refurbished fish factory in a working harbour and brings together some of the best local art, crafts, jewellery, fashion, food and drink. Cosy up alongside the fire inside on cooler days while enjoying the live music on offer.

Route 44 Market

Open every Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 4pm.

You’ll find one of the Cape’s largest and most popular markets situated on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Housed in sturdy, all-weather marquees and surrounded by vineyards and lush trees, the Root 44 Market offers a vast range of craft and homeware stalls, jewellery, kiddies clothing, leather goods as well as a fantastic selection of food and drinks stalls for your leisurely browsing. There is also live music, a kids play area and plenty of seating. Grab a glass of wine or try one of the local craft beers and settle in to enjoy the jovial atmosphere.
